Received it and right away used it to slice 30lbs of tri tip,it cut like butter.I would definitely recommend this knife

I've owned forschner knives for a long time now. as a chef, they are my go to knives for everything. The rosewood handle is very comfortable and the knife is well balanced and not as heavy as other comparable knives. Big fan.
Save the scratch...get the Fibrox handle
It's a capable meat knife and sharpens relatively easily. I use it mainly for breaking down larger cuts of meat or slicing up stuff off the Weber. I got it for a good price via Prime, but should've gotten the cheaper Fibrox handle since it's easier to clean and hold when dealing with raw meats.
