It works!
A little getting used to it due to the weight of the unit. However, have cooked two set of ribs and they came out wonderfully tender. Great little unit... Will be taken this dutch oven camping to test some outdoor cooking. Can't wait... :-)
The one you have been waiting for!
This is a great shape. We have grilled in the lid. Made brownies over the fire. Plus served up breakfast for 14 hungry people. The one draw back is the getting a hot lid off to check the food. My husband made us a special one that we could lift the lid with.
Great quality
Heavy duty. Offers even heating. The lid is versatile as a grill, as well. This is the right size(13"x 13") for small camp stoves or gas infrared grills (which often are difficult to control the temperature). This heavy cast iron helps buffer the high heat allowing for better cooking results. I'm glad I found this.
