Fan of Chicago Metallic
I purposely sought this brand out when I was looking for a square baking pan. I've purchased other products from them and I love that they are commercial grade/top quality. My order arrived on time and I baked with it that day and *loved* it. I dislike using glass baking pans because it often browns the baked good too much; upon receiving this pan I through my old glass one away.
Great Pan for Brownies- Cooks more evenly than Glass
For years, I baked my brownies in my handy PYREX 8"x8" pan but gradually two things annoyed me about that - first, the four corner pieces would be rounded and thus you wouldn't be
able to serve those pieces (they would fall on the plate if I cut them too small). Second, it seemed to not quick the batter evenly - the top would be crispy but the middle would be raw. I read
that glass conducts heat TOO well...so I decided to give the metal pan a try. I made a batch of brownies and immediately noticed how evenly it baked. Same recipe and same oven temperature. Since it is uncoated, I simply lined the pan with aluminum foil and non-stick spray. Voila ! These pans are nice and thick and I expect it to last me for decades to come. In fact, I might be ordered another one.

When I buy new cookware, I always look for Chicago Metallic products first. I have never been let down by any of their products.
